Goodbye George Martin

I found myself wide awake and came onto the computer to see the news of George Martin's death.   I find some comfort in that George was 90 years old and he lived a wonderful and full life that brought happiness to many, many people.

I am so thankful that he believed in the Beatles and was willing to allow them to record their own songs and showed them different instruments to use on their music.   I am thankful that George didn't scoff when John wanted to run a tape backwards or Paul wanted to use loops or when John wanted a song to sound like a circus.    George was experimental and ahead of his time and was the perfect producer for the Beatles.  

We will miss you George.
