I love seeing photos of the original Cavern Club before it was torn down and the years after the Beatles is pretty neat to see. These photos show a band named "The Wildcat Strike" that played the Cavern Club during the summer of 1967. In the last photo you can see a marker behind the drummer? That is on honor of the Beatles. I would guess that it was the first such thing in Liverpool and I wonder whatever happened to it.
