This photo comes from the December 13, 1980 issue of the New York Post. If anyone has a better scan they could send me, that would be amazingly awesome.
The caption says, "Exclusive photo: It's John Lennon the family man and the friend to the world who comes through in this poignant photograph made awhile back but published for the first time - exclusively for in the Post. The picture, taken at 7th Avenue and Central Park South, shows John giving a requested autograph to a fan while son, Sean, looks at the camera, wife, Yoko holds the baby's hand and the Lennons' housekeeper looks after his threads. John always had time for his fans...(no need to go into John's death)"
From the look of John's hair and clothes this photo appears to have been taken around the same time as some other fan photos, which was in November 1976.
